Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

LEYLAND TRUCKS is among the four finalists of this year's Willis Faber Manufacturing Effectiveness Competition with its C44 Roadrunner cab.

The competition is organised by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers and presentations by the finalists will take place at the IMechE's Birdcage Walk, London headquarters next Wednesday, November 21. Each presentation will take 30 minutes, including five to 10 minutes for questioning by the judges.

Compared with the Terrier cab which it replaces, the C44 uses far fewer parts and is cheaper to build.

It is this characteristic which has taken it into the final of the national competition.

The other finalists are Lucas Electrical (Cannock), Westland Helicopters (Yeovil/Milton Keynes) and STC Telecommunications (London/Monkstown, Northern Ireland). The winning team will receive £10,000 and a further £4,000 will be shared between the runners up.
