BETTER organisation and a new set of regulations, taking into account suggestions made by European coach operators who took part in the Nice rally of 1977 — when there was strong dissatisfaction with certain aspects of the event — are to be features of next year's rally which is to be held at Francorchamps, near Liege, Belgium, from May 22 to 26.
Announcing the new venue, which will be more attractive to many operators who have jibbed at the long drive to the French Riviera, the organisers ADPA have indicated that in addition to the usual classes, technical and driving tests, a voluntary fuel consumption trial may be held at Francorchamps.
