Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

in the UK. Hymo Lift, the manufacturer, has established a company here for the purpose.

There is a range of models, including one with a double-scissors lifting linkage. Capacities of the single-scissors designs are from 1,100lb to 13,2001b. Closed heights vary according to capacity from 6.875in. to 15.75in. and maximum heights from 38.1875in. to 74.75in.

The double-scissors model is obtainable in three versions for loads from 1,5001b to 3,0001b. Closed heights are 11.875in. to 17.75in. and maximum raised from 70.875in. to 135.75in.

As well as standard sizes of table—the actual dimension is different for each model —special sizes can be supplied. And while the hydraulic-lift system is usually powered by an electric motor, hand-pump types have been made.

The Hymo-Lift table has a number of built-in safety features. The design is said to eliminate the chance of collapse and automatic bridging flaps that can be supplied make handling of wheeled containers safer (the flaps are hydraulically operated and locked in the raised position when the table is being moved so that the containers cannot roll off the platform). Finelevelling adjustments can be made without the flap cylinder being engaged.
