Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TWO paraffin-fed heat generators have been added to the Tropical range by Boscombe Precision Engineering. Both are designed for suspended mounting and have higher outputs than heaters of the same type previously offered by the firm although they are to the same design.

The H300 is like the H150 but incorporates the specification of the existing B300 mobile unit—output of 320,000 Btu per hour and sufficient capacity to warm a 60,000 cu.ft. space at a cost of about 3s per hour. The HX300 is similar in design to the HX150 but like the existing BX300 mobile generator, gives 220,000 Btu per hour which is adequate for 60,000 cu.ft.; running cost is about 2s 4d an hour.

The main difference in design between the H300 and the HX300 is that the latter has a vented combustion chamber. Made by: Boscombe Precision Engineering Co. (1963) Ltd., Tropical Works, Bournemouth, Hants.

Price: H300, £145; HX300, £197.
