Scania at Old Trafford

AN EXHIBITION of Scania-Vabis vehicles sponsored by Lancashire and Yorkshire distributor Westwood Commercial Vehicles Ltd., of Wythenshawe, Manchester, is to be held at Lancashire county cricket ground, Old Trafford, next Tuesday. As well as display chassis there will be two fully laden vehicles—a 20-ton-gross tipper and a 32-ton artic—available for demonstration runs.

Also at the exhibition will be a range of York semi-trailers and container equipment including the latest SLT range, container carrying and extensible models and tippers. And there will be Hiab cranes and mechanical handling equipment.

• IN an advertisement by Ford Motor Co. Ltd., in our October 20 issue, reference was made to a Mr. R. M. Norris. Through a printing error, the caption to his photograph was omitted. This should have read; "Mr. Norris is Co-Director of Mainland Market Deliveries, Portsmouth."
