HUNGARY is importing heavy road transport vehicles from Sweden and West Germany. The first consignment of 80 Volvo trucks is due to arrive in Budapest by mid-December, according to the Hungarian Chamber of Commerce. The vehicles have been ordered by Hungarocamion.
They will include 50 FB-88 type tractors and 30 vehicles of 22-ton payload capacity. The semi-trailers and refrigerating vans required for the tractors will be supplied by the West German Blumhardt Company.
