Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

"Those operators I know that are

operating them seem highly delighted with their performance" Chris Wright

Chris Wright is managing director of Commercial Vehicle Auctions based at Doncaster. He holds sales on two Wednesdays each month with an average throughput of 160-200 trucks, 80-150 trailers and various items of plant. Wright also holds sales around the country at customers' premises.

"I haven't seen a single FM of any description go under the hammer, so I can't say how the market values them," he says. "The FM is a downmarket FH. Those operators I know that are operating them seem highly delighted with their performance. The FM12 eightwheelers I have seen have been rated at 340hp which, for the time being, is the level of power that the

majority of operators have settled 6 for to operate at 32 tonnes.

"The FM range is only about three years old so the used market will have to wait for another couple of years for the early ones to start to become available in any volume outside the dealer network—that is unless someone goes bust in the meantime!"
