• The court battle over the rights to the Coldstream name is over, but the protagonists still have to decide who will pay the costs of last month's High Court hearing.
Coldstream Ice Cream (Frozen Foods) of Norwich took Coldstream Distribution, the transport division of Express Foods, to court in an effort to win an interlocutory injunction banning Coldstream Distribution from trading under the Coldstream name in the Norfolk and Suffolk area, pending a full court hearing. But Coldstream Ice Cream was not granted its injunction, and was given 14 days to decide whether to pursue the case in the High Court. "The case seems to have melted away," says Coldstream Distribution.
