of Metropolitan Authorities' Public Works Committee, Councillor John Kotz, received a fitting moment() when he attended his last meeting of the committee. They got some apprentices to knock up a sculpture, or rather a "construction" made out of things that have become familiar subjects of debate in the committee such as a lump of concrete off a tower block, supported by three corroded wall-ties, etc.
I'm glad they don't say farewell to members of our industry involved on road haulage committee's in this way. If they did, the mind boggles at the result.
