• Heavy goods vehicle and PSV drivers are being given seven instead of five days to produce their licences to the police.
New regulations, announced by Junior Transport Minister Michael Spicer, also mean that pre-1960 historic commercial vehicles may be driven without an HGV licence provided they are driven without a load.
