ELECTRIC ROADSNOWS • Bedford Commercial Vehicles, in conjunction with the East Midlands Electricity Board and Lucas Chloride Electric Vehicle Systems, will be holding a series of nine Electric Vehicle Roadshows at selected Bedford dealers throughout the East Midlands.

The following dealers will act as hosts: June 3 Batchelor Bowles, Leicester June 10 Cowley & Wilson, Milton Keynes June 12 Grose Ltd, Northampton June 19 Neville, Mansfield June 24 Birdies, Chesterfield July 1 Trust Motors, Nottingham July 3 Charles Warner, Lincoln Each roadshow will be held from 12 to 2.30pm and 5 to 7pm and will feature a display area and demonstration vehicles. A cutaway CF electric chassis cab will also be exhibited. Representatives from Bedford, Lucas Chloride EV Systems and the EMEB will be in attendance to answer any queries from potential electric van users. In addition to the Electric CF models, there will also be displays of other conventional Bedford light commercials.
