• TTB (Fabrications) of Townstal, Dartmouth, has developed a safety device to prevent the rapid recoil of door handles used on standard waste compaction containers.
The system, fitted as standard to all TTB containers with overcentre locking systems is said to give complete control.
A pneumatic cylinder slows the release mechanism movement while permitting the overcentre lock to snap back into position.
