credits or refunds for members following investigations into nine complaints against manufacturers. The complaints have all been made this year.
The committee was meeting Leyland Vehicles this week and is shortly to meet the Department of Transport to ask for a liaison meeting to discuss the cause, effect and remedy of delays at hgv test stations.
Volvo's policy decision not to make any further contributions to operators as to repair cab corrosion is being taken up with the company. The RHA say that the policy decision is unacceptable.
Other matters which are under consideration are vehicle recovery and repair schemes.
