THE GOVERNMENT is considering a sharp cut-back in the provision of lorry parks in towns and cities.
Mr John Peyton, former Minister for Transport Industries, had plans for a network of 50 lorry parks throughout the country. But his successor, Mr Fred Mulley is now contemplating reducing the number to between 25 and 30.
