Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Rubber hose assemblies for oil suction and discharge services has been revised to include new types of hose assembly not previously covered.

Rough and smooth bore hoses are commonly used to transfer crude oil and liquid petroliurn products (other than liquified petroleum and natural gasses) between tankers and hauliers' bunkers. Now type A assemblies, which are armoured but lighter than the Type R hose assemblies, are to be included in the specification.

Particular attention has been given to the electrical properties of hoses and hose assemblies and to the related markings, in line with current HSE recommendations. Specification of hose construction is not rigidly defined as it was thought that this might restrict further technical developments.
