Advisory Committee is holding its annual seminar at the Coventry Crest Hotel on Tuesday 12 April on the theme Let's get it right.
The Health and Safety Executive's deputy superintending inspector of factories, John Campbell, will be presenting a paper on the Handling of loading regulations and their effect on retail distribution. BTAC expects this paper to engender a lively debate, especially on its ramifications for third-party contract distribution companies such as TNT and BRS, which are winning business in the brewery transport industry.
Other speakers will be Roland Browne of Renault Trucks, Anne Preston of Preston's of Potto, and Dave Wetzel of the London Borough of Hounslow.
