Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Mercedes-Benz is now offering factory-built crew-cabs for all its 12 models from the 5.6-tonne 609 to the 811D 7.5tonne turbo. A four-person bench seat has been added behind the front seats; entry is via the passenger door.

The front passenger seat folds forwards; cab length has been increased by 920mrn and the chassis cab's unladen weight has risen by 185kg.

George Dowes Recovery of North Shields, Tyne and Wear, has put the first 7.5-tonne 811D into operation in the UK, fitted with a 5.2m French-made Fiala slide-and-tilt self-loading body powered by a factoryfitted PT-D. An extra 230-litre fuel tank has been fitted and fuel consumption to date is 14.841it/100km. • Hysol Grafil, part of the Coventry-based Courtaulds group, has improved the way its tankers discharge polymer solutions used in the production of carbon fibre.

The insides of its four stainless steel tankers have been polished by the manufacturer Crane Fruehauf to remove any sharp projections, before fitting a specialised rubber bladder into the centre compartment which is used to transport the raw material.

By compressing the bag with air the solution can be discharged cleanly without risk of aeration, says Hysol Grafil.
