Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Leyland Daf has unveiled the long-awaited 6x2 twinsteer and tag-axle versions of its 95 Series tractive units. A further double-drive 6x4 model, designed specifically for the heavy haulage market, is also now in Britain, though it will not be available for some time because it is still undergoing type approval.

The twin-steer FTG range is available with a choice of either standard, sleeper, top-sleeper or Space cabs and three power units with outputs of 225kW, 259kW, or 282kW (302hp,347hp and 378hp) and maximum torques of 1,261, 1,413 and 1,526Nm respectively.

All of the British FTG models will have a design weight limit of 44 tonnes GCW, but will be down-plated to 38 tonnes. They have a 22tonne GVW limit on the standard 3.82m wheelbase, spread across 6.5 tonnes on the front axle and 15.5 tonnes on the rear bogie, depending on the tyre equipment fitted. Standard equipment will be 285/80 x22.5 tubeless radials.

Rear overhang on FTG models is 0.81m, and the overall vehicle length is 6.0m.
