THE CENTRAL Regional Council's calibration centre in Stirling is to close.
It has been open since 1981 and has been used by tanker drivers from all over Scotland. They used it to meet Government regulations concerning tanker measuring sticks.
Now the calibration is drawing to a close at the end of June, removing a need for the centre.
