A low voltage mini-siren with a range of one-quarter mile and capable of operating for prolonged periods from a vehicle battery has been incorporated in the low-cost series C vehicle alarm marketed by Property Protection Services.
Closure of all vehicle doors fitted with the alarm system and the operation of a key operated switch from the exterior of the vehicle sets the alarm. Should the door then be opened without switching off the alarm will operate — disconnection of the vehicle battery nullifies the alarm.
Marketed by Property Protection Services Burglar Alarm Systems, 257 Canterbury Road, Davyhulme, Lancashire.
