Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Designed for drilling very thin materials in applications where a slightly tapered hole is acceptable, the Conecut drill is produced by G. and J. Hall and is said to be particularly suitable for drilling holes in vehicle panels required for fitting mirrors, aerials and so on. It is claimed that the drill does not skid on a painted surface, which enables it to be employed without making a punchmark in the material.

The Conecut can conveniently be employed in a handheld power drill or in a carpenter's brace for drilling metal or plastics materials up to 2mm thick. Hole size increases as the tool advances and is, therefore, "infinitely variable". A range of three drills covers maximum hole diameters of 6mm to 40mm, a shank diameter of 9.5mm being common to all the models.

Made by G. and J. Hall Ltd, Burgess Road, Sheffield 89 3WD.
