Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for a rigid and drawbar trailer combination? This query arises after reading CM November 5 1971 concerning Golden Wonder's new AEC Mandator/York combination stated as being 59ft 0.75in.-long, some inches more than the 18 metres which up till now I assumed to be the maximum allowed.

AAs you point out the maximum length for such a combination to conform to Construction and Use Regulations is 18 metres, but when converting to British units' using 3.28ft = 1 metre as the conversion factor this means that the vehicle was within the 59ft 0.75in. maximum permitted length under the Construction and Use Regulations.
