INTRODUCED by Henley Forklift Co. Ltd. as an addition to its Hercules range of fork-lift trucks, the 26/48 model lifts 26,000 lb. at 48 in. centres. All Hercules models are powered by the Ford 2704E 6-cylinder engine developing 115 b.h.p. at 2,800 r.p.m.

Transmission is via a twin-disc hydraulic single-stage torque converter. Two forward and two reverse gears are provided and two duplex clutch packs allow instantaneous reverse and forward changes at full engine speed.
