APROPOSAL by a taxi operator to run a mini-bus shopping service for Sutton Coldfield housewives is being fully supported by the borough's transport and services committee
Mr. H. W. Burns, of Lyndon Road, Sutton Coldfield, is to apply to the West Midland Traffic Commissioners For a licence to operate a daily service at half-hourly intervals from 10 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. and 4.40 to 6.10 p.m.
Already Mr. Burns is operating a 200passenger Sunday service on two local routes from which Midland Red has withdrawn its service.
