MR. H. BRIAN COTTEE, who has been assistant editor of COMMERCIAL MOTOR for the past six years, has been appointed editor in place of Mr. Alan Havard who, as announced above, has resigned to take up an appointment with the Transport Holding Company. Mr. J. N. Friedman is appointed assistant editor.
At the same time, Mr. Richard BenstedSmith is appointed editorial director of COMMERCIAL MOTOR and MOTOR. Mr. Bensted Smith is succeeded as editor of MOTOR by Mr. Charles Bulmer.
Mr. Harold Nockolds has been appointed deputy managing director of Temple Press Ltd., publishers of COmMURCIAL MOTOR, and continues as editorial director of the company.
Mr. Come, who is 40, joined Temple Press Ltd. in 1943 on the editorial staff of THE AEROPLANE and after service in the RAF rejoined Temple Press Ltd. in 1948 on the editorial staff of MOTOR. He was appointed assistant editor of COMMERCIAL MOTOR in 1961.
