Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

the Continent on a transporter can I make an individual delivery on trade plates where this was specifically requested by a Continental customer?

AIt would seem that if for some particular

reason it was considered essential to deliver a new car to a Continental customer individually then a possible solution would be to licence it in the normal way, including the issue of registration plates, for a minimum period of four months when travel on the Continent would then be legally possible. But trade plates would not be valid.

However, a more difficult problem to be surmounted would be in connection with the exemption from payment of purchase tax and we are advised that the rather complicated paperwork involved would be best undertaken by the manufacturer for whom, in any case. the person making the delivery would be acting as agent.
