Automotive marketing director Ric Kleine says its arrival will probably coincide with the Euro2 emmissions limit.The M11, which will be launched in the US next month, is a long-stroke development of the 1,1 Orange.
Power ratings are understood to span 209-276kW (280-370hp), but significantly torque ratings will run from 1,6954,830Nm (1,250-1,350Ibft).
Last week Cummins unveiled its full Euro-1 range, including the L350E equipped with Celect.
Kleine confirms that the M11 and L350E could replace the 14litre N340: the L350E develops more power and torque than the N340 but weighs 28% less
