Dempster Film: A 25-minute film of Dempster waste and bulk materials handling and haulage systems in use by local authorities throughout Britain has been produced by Powell Duffryn Engineering Co. The film, entitled "Municipal Wise—by Dempster", has its first showing during the Institute of Public Cleansing Conference and Exhibition this week (June 7-10) after which copies will be available.

Another Simms Centre: Simms Motor Units Ltd., a member of the Simms Group, has opened a new service centre at 4 Burton Close, St. Faith's Industrial Estate, Norwich. MG Extension: The route for the final 15 miles of the Birmingham-Carlisle motorway (M6) in Lancs. and Westmorland, between the Lancaster by-pass and west of Killington Reservoir, has been fixed. This section will start on the Lancaster by-pass just north of the B6254 crossing at Over Kellett, then pass to the west of Burton and east of Holme.
