• TNT Logistics has branched out into the installation of as appliances as part of a contract with British Gas Energy Centres.
The two-and-a-half year deal, which is worth some E6m, is for the home delivery and installation of gas cookers, fires and other appliances. TNT Logistics development director Paul EdenSmith says that more than 1 00 drivers and mates have been trained to carry out the work. They will be working with accredited engineers. Over the past six weeks TNT Logistics says it has won more than El 7m worth of new business.
