• The sole distribution and manufacturing rights of the Klaus hydrauically operated ISO container handling equipment have been granted to Sheppard Fabrications Ltd, of Barnham, Norfolk, for the UK and certain Commonwealth countries.
The equipment will be marketed under the name Sheppard-Klaus Sideloader. The basic model operates from one side and is capable of handling 20ft and 30ft ISO containers. It can unload or load containers from rail cars, road vehicles, etc., and can also double-stack containers up to 30 tons capacity. Other models are available to handle ISO containers of 10ft to 40ft; double sideloaders are similarly available. All operations can be carried out by the driver.
