for the 1962 Road Operators' Safety Council safe driving competition and 50,330 conductors of p.s.v. were entered for the 1962 conductors' award of merit competition. This is revealed in the annual report of R.O.S.Co.
The total number of awards gained in the 1962 competitions was 90,670 and in this connection the Council extends its congratulations to the three drivers who received the 40 years' Gold Cross, and to all the men and women who also received awards, on a first-class achieve-ment under conditions which Yearly become more difficult and exacting.
