NOTTINGHAMSHIRE-based B Taylor & Sons (Transport) has taken on coverage of part of the NG postcode for pallet network Pall-Ex, after nine years of running for rival Fortec.
The haulier, which has expanded to more than 180 vehicles and 250 trailers since being founded in 1974, is building a new headquarters in Huthwaite that will house its entire logistics team.
MD Alan Taylor said: "The decision to change pallet network did not come easily.
"However, once we saw the Pall-Ex operation and met the managerial team, we felt it was an opportunity to provide an improved and more professional service for our customers," he added.
Steven Reed, development director at Pall-Ex, expressed his delight at the haulier joining the network. "We look forward to working together to stimulate further growth for B Taylor & Sons and the Pall-Ex network as a whole," he said.
