TRANSPORT BOOK COMES OF AGE • The 21st Transport Manager's and Operator's Handbook, written by David Lowe, has been published by Kogan Page, priced at 225.
It covers current and forthcoming EC and UK legislation including the new EC unified licences; increase in maximum length for artics and drawbars; and the regulations on vehicle lighting which were introduced in November 1989.
For the first time the handbook carries a list of organisations offering transport services, such as components, mobile communications and vehicle hire.
