WIPING OUT WATER • Hurstway Filtration is marketing a US-designed device, claimed to get rid of rainwater in diesel engines_ The Water Eliminator nylon cartridge is about 18cm long and contains water-absorbing material that rejects hydrocarbons. The manufacturer says it reduces fuel-line freezing, cuts maintenance costs, increases engine life and makes filters last longer.
