Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Nee° is unveiling a more powerful version of its TurboDaily non-HGV range at the Brussels Motor Show this week. Sharing the limelight will be a trio of the latest heavy trucks from Scania, featuring its latest driveline technology and aerodynamic Streamline cab (CM 29 November-5 December 1990), and a new carderived van is expected from Nissan.

As predicted by Commercial Motor (18-24 October 1990), the main innovation on the TurboDaily is charge-cooling on the turbocharged DI Sofim power unit, with claimed improvements to both power and specific fuel consumption.

Compared with the existing 8140.27 engine, the chargecooled 8140.47 variant gets 12% more power — 85kW (114hp) at 3,800rpm — and 8% more torque — 255Nm (188Ibft) at 2,000rpm. The new motor also offers reduced emissions and improved refinement. The transmission features higher final drive ratios and a new five-speed gearbox.

To make use of the extra power, a high-volume integral van has been added to the range, boasting a 17m3 capacity.

The Scania trucks, all 4x2s, are: a turbo-compound 298kW (400hp) R113 MA with Streamline cab; a 373kW (500hp) high roof cabbed R143 MA; and a 283kW (380hp) R113 MW with an 11-litre engine.
