• Bus services in Scotland will be 'over-hauled' again from January 6. On that date changes in the privatised services come into effect.
A considerable number of changes have already been notified to the Scottish Traffic Commissioner in Edinburgh, affecting routes and services throughout Scotland. Services on many routes will he increased, reduced, rerouted or withdrawn altogether.
Lothian Region Transport has already announced a number of changes in its network in and around Edinburgh. The Scottish Bus Group is examining its services, and will be announcing changes, including improvements in some routes and alterations to frequencies.
