IN Leyland Trucks is experimenting with auctions as a means of disposing of its exdemonstrator and company vehicles.

The company has begun selling the vehicles at Leyland '['nicks closed sales, organised by British Car Auctions.

Ray Ashworth, Leyland's operator support manager, says "The sales represent a change in our policy of putting ex-demonstration and company models out to tender. We were very satisfied with the prices." Top price of the day was £28,600 for a D-reg Constructor 30.25.
