ANOTHER contender in the field of aerodynamic devices has beei introduced by Aerodyne Equipment of 30 Dudley Gardens, Harrow Middlesex.

Known as Aeroboost 1, it comes in a kit of glass fibre sections (from five to ten pieces depending on application) which are pop-riveted together.

The company claims that this modular construction allows the device to be fitted to almost any size of boxvan, Luton or reefer. Again, depending upon the individual application, Aeroboost 1 weighs between 14 and 28kg (25 to 50Ib) and protrudes to i maximum of 152mm (6in) fron the bodywork surface.

The Aeroboost 1 costs be tween £150 and £225 which, thE company claims, will pay for it self in about six months for 2 boxvan, saving ten per cent fue on 26 lit/100krn (11mpg) cover ing a daily distance of 320krr (200 miles).
