Remote control pneumatic cylinders for opening and closing rear discharge valves on Whale sludge tankers are now available as kits for fitting to existing vehicles. For convenience, manual controls are still fitted at the rear of the tank.
Fitting the new bracket and the cylinder, with the necessary pipe work and control lever can be undertaken by any motor mechanic or fitter in roughly two hours.
Price: complete cab control kit £70 ex-works.
