Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Changes affecting London's flat-fare buses, including the Central Area Red Arrows, will come into effect on January 22. announced London Transport this week. These changes virtually amount to the integration of these buses into the LTB system.

From January 22 the change-giving machines on the Red Arrows will be removed and in future the drivers will give change as required—as already done on the suburban flat-fare buses. Red Rover, Twin Rover and ''Weekender" tickets will also be accepted on all flat-fare buses, including Red Arrows.

With reference to the Red Arrows, an LTB spokesman said: -The new arrangements with the driver giving change should speed up change-giving, cause less congestion near the entrance gates, and obviate the mechanical

difficulties which have occurred with the change machines."
