Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

AViages. Their appeal has been exploited by the railway and shipping companies in publicity displays, but little has been done in this direction by road-transport undertakings.

For concerns that are contemplating this form of advertising, more than 100

different models of commercial vehicles are offered by Wilson's Lorries, Ltd., 1, Great Winchester Street, London, E.C.2. Mr. D. Murray Wilson, the technical director, began the enterprise in 1934 with the aim of interesting the younger generation in lorries.

Since that date, models have been designed with more serious objects. They can be supplied to any scale to manufacturers or operators of buses

and goods vehicles. Museum pieces and 4-mm. scale models in great detail are also produced. Three 4-mm. scale models are illustrated here.

Although the company's resources are mainly concentrated upon the production of low-priced model kits for schoolboys, a varied range of expensive models on a similar scale is offered. These miniatures are manufactured with close attention to detail and are particularly suitable for publicity displays. Wilson's Lorries, Ltd., prepares advertising panoramas to serve as background to models, and these can, of course, represent any setting, such as docks, yards, etc.

Models to Order

To meet the needs of commercial' vehicle manufacturers, Wilson's Lorries, Ltd., undertakes to make models to order on any scale. Models of this type might cost from £35 to £70 and take three or four weeks to make by the company.

The museum pieces represent the last word in craftsmanship and may cost up to £250. Any type of commercial vehicle can be reproduced.

Larger works are being sought, so that production may be increased. Many new items are like/y to be added to the company's list of products, including an ashtray ornamented by a model lorry.
