Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TDG (UK) wants to base 45 vehicles and 70 trailers at a 360,000ft2 facility at Revolution Park in Chorley, Lancs.

The transport irm will run the site in Buckshaw Village as a regional distribution centre (RDC) for its customer Kimberly-Clark, which manufactures brands such as Kleenex, Andrex and Huggies.

Plumbing parts supplier Wolseley vacated the unit two years ago following a business review, and Kimberly-Clark bought the freehold.

TDG carries out about 50% of Kimberly-Clark’s transport work and manages the whole distribution contract on a fourth party logistics basis from an ofice in Carnforth, Lancs.

Kimberly-Clark has four UK paper mills and several distribution centres across the UK.

Mick Wilson, business director at TDG, says: “The opening of this state-of-the-art facility is yet another milestone in TDG and Kimberly Clark’s long-standing and successful working partnership.”
