5 he Rotherhithe Tunnel is due to reopen this week following a month's closure for repairs.
This will no doubt come as a relief to drivers of the numerous categories of vehicles banned from the detour via Tower Bridge or Blackwall Tunnel.
You're not welcome at these crossings if your vehicle is more than 7ft fiin wide, 33ft long or 14ft 9in high, and you mustn't can-y inflammable or explosive material. And as for Range Rovers,..words fail me.
