AN air-powered reciprocating saw for use on wood, metal, and other materials has been added to the range of Ingersol-Rand power tools. The saw features a directional exhaust deflector with built-in muffler, and the cutting line is kept free of chips by means of an auxiliary front end exhaust.
Operating at 60-100 p.s.i. air pressure, and 1,600 strokes per minute, the saw, SRAOIOAI, has a stroke length of and weighs 8.25 lb. Contained in a metal case the saw is available with a selection of accessories, including pipe clamp attachment and two extra-heavy-duty metal cutting blades.
