THE latest move by Dennis Bros. Ltd., in its
plans to improve after-sales service and spares facilities for its customers is the appointment of Trucks and Pallets Scotland Ltd. as sole distributor for Scotland.
To launch its new link-up with Dennis, Trucks and Pallets opened an exhibition of part of the Dennis range at its premises in Braeview Place, East Kilbride, near Glasgow, and this continues today and tomorrow.
Trucks and Pallets Scotland Ltd. is part of the John Wallace Group and the Dennis distributorship will be handled from a 25,000 sq. ft. factory that the company has taken over adjoining its original premises of 32,000 sq. ft. The extra area includes a sales display section, maintenance workshop, offices and spares warehouse.
Iron Curtain Volvo: To boost its sales in Eastern Europe Volvo has formed a company in Stockholm, Volvest AB, which will distribute Volvo trucks in Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Rumania and Bulgaria.
