THE Yorkshire-Torbay Pool operators' bid to provide increased facilities between the West Riding industrial area and the west and south-west has been partially successful.
In a written decision, the Yorkshire Traffic Cbmrnissioners have rejected all-year-round operations but granted the May-September Keighley-Cheltenham and Keighley-Paignton trunk services with Halifax-Wakefield and Leeds-Wakefield feeder services.
These will replace services the applicants already provide. Limitations have been imposed on vehicle allowances on the trunk services, with month-by-month variations and variations between day and night services.
