MR. H. GLASS, of the process control division in the motor cover department at Fort Dunlop, has become technical manager of the Dunlop factory in Kobe, Japan. He is joined by MR. J. S. BIRCH as assistant production manager. Mr. Birch was senior night manager at Fort Dunlop. MR. N. BOURNES becomes manager of the Dunlop Manchester works in succession to MR. G. LIVINGS.
MR. T. E. GASCOYNE, whilst remaining general sales manager of Jowett Cars, Ltd., will devote most of his time to the export market, assisted by MR. J. N. COPELAND and MR. E. G. GREEN. Mr. Green remains in ultimate control of the spares and service division. The company's northern and southern sales divisions are merged under the control of MR. E. J. SUTER as home sales manager. The London showrooms will be maintained under the control of MR. J. H. BALown:1, who will also continue to control advertising.

MR. E. G. GRAY, overseas representative of the agricultural division of Nuffield Exports, Ltd., has begun a six-month tour of South America. He will visit Uruguay, Brazil, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Bolivia, Chile and Panama. MR. J. H. JENKINS, shipping manager of Nuffield Exports, Ltd., has been appointed commercial manager. MR. W. WILLIAMS, assistant shipping manager, will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the shipping department.,
