Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BETWEEN 300 and 400 persons attended the annual staff dance held by F. Perkins, Ltd., at the Angel Hotel, Peterborough, on Friday of last

week. Included among the visitors were a number of prominent personalities on the chassis-manufacturing side of the industry, and many of the company's agents.

The function proved most enjoyable, and its magnitude and cordial spirit may be regarded as indicative of the splendid headway the Perkins concern has made during the past few years with its range of high-speed oil engines, which are now standardized in a considerable number of popular medium-weight chassis.

A notable feature of the gathering was the happy atmosphere, combined with enthusiasm for their product, existing among the personnel of the Perkins concern. This might almost be likened. to that of a large family, and constitutes a high tribute to Mr. F. A. Perkins—the captain of the Perkins ship—who was a prominent figure throughout the proceedings. •
