Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Mr. Leslie Burgin, the Minister of Transport, has appointed MR. G. A. W. SMITR to be his assistant private secretary.

Sir Leonard Browett, C.B.E., permanent secretary th the Ministry of Transport, has appointed MR. H. W. Sputa to be his private secretary.

We are glad to learn, as will also be his many trade friends, that MR. H. CECIL TAYLOR, publicity manager of Vauxhall Motors, Ltd., is making a good recovery after his recent serious illness.

MR. D. A. ELWES has set up as a transport consultant at 446, First Avenue House, High Holborn, London, W.C.1. Mr, Elwes has had a long and practical experience, spent partly in the operative and administrative sections of an important railway, and a still longer period in control of rail, road and shipping interests for a big industrial concern in the North. Latterly he has been dealing largely with goods traffic legislation and, in particular, the licensing of vehicles.

MR. W. BUDDELL has severed his connection with Oldsmobile Distributors, Ltd., and has become general manager of Marshalsea Bros., Ltd., of Taunton, the well-known distributor of Morris-Commercial and other vehicles.

The deepest sympathy of all his many friends in the industry will be extended to MR. W. B. S. WEDDALL, manager of Motor Commerce, whose wife and daughter were killed, and his son injured, in a motor accident which occurred on Sunday. night.
