Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

windscreen after climbing just three steps. This is thanks to MAN not foilovving the example set by Mercedes-Benz and having a flat cab floor. Instead, the MAN has two slightly sunken footwells for the seats, which means one step less and a better score for its ease of access.

The spacious cab almost resembles a ballroom. The only obstacle is the console with the parking brake and the adjoining fridge — a point of detail that really needs some attention from the designers at MAN. We think they need to shift the handA The MAhl's cab oozes brake to a spot on the dashboard. Doing this will create class with well-chosen even more space in the cab and will look much better. colours, good design However, overall. this MAN TGX XXL cab leaves little to and materials

be desired, and the cab interior oozes class_ The colours are well balanced, the materials used and the design are very well thought out. All these elements add up to welldeserved points in the table.

Praise aside, there is one problem that still persists with MAN. That is the housing of the mirror on the right-hand side of the (left-hand-drive) cab is much too big. It connects seamlessly to the door pillar and thus creates a huge blind spot. According to MAN, this location means that the mirrors will stay cleaner while driving in foul weather, but we would prefer better vision all around. Shifting the housing backwards a couple of centimetres would do the job and not only create a better view, but also create a reasonable dead angle.

The MAN has great drivability, with the MAN D2676 engine delivering 480hp with a maximum torque of 2,300Nm between 1,050rpm and 1,400rpm, That is the same amount of torque as the OAF and Mercedes in this test, Out the MAN was at its best in the hill climbs.

While the other trucks had to shift down two gears, the MAN just goes on and on at 1,150rpm, Since shifting gears meant losing points, the MAN does very well in this respect
